    What you are experiencing on your Samsung Galaxy SIII, is possibly a Hardware Issue.

    Remove the back cover of the Mobile Phone,
    Remove the In Question SIM ,
    Insert any other SIM into the slot,
    Experience the change, is there any change, is the SIM detected ?
    If yes, your Existing SIM Card is possibly having some issue. Else , the SIM Slot of the Phone is damaged.

    Once again Clean the Slot by blowing compressed air and insert the SIM again.
    If there is no change, you need to take a final decision on the above testing whether you need to change the SIM Card or Service the phone.

    Call Your Service provider if the SIM is found to be damaged,
    Call Samsung Customer Care if the phone SIM Slot is found damaged.

    Samsung Galaxy S3 displaying “Insert Sim” even though SIM is inserted properly

    I am having Samsung Galaxy S3. Recently the phone is showing a weird problem. It is displaying “Insert Sim” randomly. Even when the phone is kept idle sometimes the message is displayed on the home screen. Please suggest a fix.
